Her new documentary "Virtual Fatherlands" is a film about the concept of "fatherland" and its virtual manifestations – that is to say, when the countries are more real in your imagination than in your reality. Using the Armenian population of the Netherlands as a base, "Virtual Fatherlands" intends to investigate the divers concepts of motherland and the effects they can have on one’s mentality, psychology and society.
